The gun action

Equipped with a trigger, the gas released with each press of the gun inactivates the bottle and creates a protective atmosphere that is completely neutral in taste and smell.

Champagne conservation

The stopper seals the bottle perfectly. Protected from oxidation, champagne retains all its bubbles and aromas for a week after opening the bottle.

Your questions about our Bubbl.® cartridges

Are BUBBL. cartridges different from other CO2 cartridges?

The cartridge format as well as the thread are identical. However, BUBBL has developed an enological gas mix CO2 80% + Nitrogen 20% which improves the functioning of the system. Indeed, this gas has the double function of compressing the existing CO2 while protecting the wine from oxidation (inerting process).

How many bottles can I preserve with one gas cartridge?

You gonna preserve 5 bottles minimum and more. By pulling the trigger, you release the gas through the Smart Cap which will manage the pressure in the cylinder (2.5 to 3 bars). The same cap manages the expulsion of the O2 that causes oxidation.

How do we know that a gas canister is empty?

If the pressure on the trigger of the gun does not push any more gas, it means that the cartridge is empty. When the gun is in your hand, simply squeeze the trigger and hear a hiss or not to see if there is any gas left.

Before throwing away a cartridge, it is recommended to completely empty it by pressing the handle before removing it from the tank, this is without danger. The gases come from the atmosphere, so there are no ecological and health risks.

How do I change my cartridges?

Before changing the cartridge, check that the current cartridge is empty by making sure that gas does not escape when you pull the trigger. Unscrew the black handle and dispose of the cartridge in the recycling bin. Take a new cartridge and screw it in tightly.

What do we do with empty cartridges after use?

The steel cartridges are recyclable in selective sorting with household metals such as tin cans.

What is the lifespan of a cartridge?

If the cartridge is impacted, it is advisable to use it within six months. If the cartridge is not impacted, you must refer to the expiry date indicated on the box. As the gas is food grade, there is a legal shelf life of 5 years on all cartridges
