Coravin capsules are made with pure Argon

Nitrogen, Argon, and CO2, which naturally exist in the air we breathe, are considered suitable for food industry applications. Therefore, Argon capsules are a viable choice.
These capsules are constructed using high-quality steel, ensuring durability and reliability. They are manufactured by a trusted service provider who adheres to market standards. Each capsule has a capacity of 21ml and contains 6.5g of compressed gas.
To operate the system, simply insert the capsule into the body of the device. This connection allows the cartridge to link with the device effectively, ensuring seamless functionality.
But Coravin, for its system operation, has added a plastic adapter.
Unlike other systems on the market such as Wikeeps that screw the cartridge directly into the body of the device, this adapter for Coravin capsules makes them look environmentally unfriendly.

Can you reuse Coravin capsules?
No, Coravin capsules are designed for single-use only and cannot be reused. The capsules are intended to provide a specific amount of gas, such as Argon, to preserve the wine or other beverages while using the Coravin system. Once a capsule is punctured and the gas is released, it cannot be resealed or reused.
Each new bottle requires a new Coravin capsule to maintain the proper pressurization and preservation of the remaining contents. It is important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and dispose of used capsules appropriately.
